Emmy's Awesome Hobbies

                During this blog post I am going to write about my awesome and exciting hobbies.  Well, I like to do lots of things like play sports, go places, hang out with my family.  The sports I like to play are softball, volleyball, and basketball.  Playing sports is my number one hobby.  The places that I like to go are amusement parks and water parks, or places where kids can have fun. 


               Since I stated that I like to play sports I will now talk about them.  My favorite sport out of softball, volleyball, and basketball is volleyball.  I like that the best because that sport I am the best at.  Last year for volleyball I played for a team where every Sunday we went to a recreation center.  Every game we played a different team.  Out of all the games we only lost one. I think that is totally awesome!  Sometimes the game can get pretty intense, only if the ball has kept getting hit up.


               Now I will type about softball.  During my last softball season I didn't play much because I had injured my foot before the season started. I did play at least 5 or 6 games.  The position I played most was catcher.  That spot is not easy. Sometimes the balls were on the ground or way up in the air that I couldn't even reach.  Also your legs get very tired after like five minutes.  I only played a couple other spots and they were outfield and second base.
                When I am at amusement parks and water parks I like to ride the scary rides and exciting rides.  Also some calm ones.  My most favorite waterpark that I have been to is Oceans of Fun. 

              Since I haven't talked about how much I love to hang out with my friends, I guess I will now.  When I am with my friends I like to go swimming with them or go get our nails done. Other things are have sleepovers and play sports together. I don't know what in the world I would do without them. 

              Now that I have typed about all my hobbies I will have to end soon.  I can't just keep typing about nothing. So now I am done talking about all of my hobbies and explaining them.


                

Emmy's Great Summer

         This summer was one of my favorite summers.  When summer began I went swimming and stayed home for most of the time. As well, I had softball games.  Then in the middle of June I went to go stay with one of my sisters.  I was there for about 2 weeks.  When I was there we went to a water park named Lost Island.  It was a lot of fun!  Then in July my sister, her boyfriend, and I went to Kansas City, Missouri.  While we were there we went to an amusement park and water park.  They are connected.  I went on about 10 rides at the water park and 3 at the amusement park.  The name of them were Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun.
               
          Another thing we did was go to a place called Cosmic Jump.  What they have there is 50 foot long trampolines that go up in the middle.  It was thrilling there.  We were in Kansas City for 5 days.  When we got back I stayed home with my mom for most of the time. If I wasn't at home I was at the pool.  Besides those things I didn't do anything else.  Now that you read about one of my favorite summers I guess it is time to stop typing, so I hope you thought that reading about my summer was exciting!
